About
Bohdan Rohulskyi is a London-based cinematographer and Director of Photography working across documentary, sport, fashion, culture and branded storytelling. His approach is built on textured realism: images that feel immediate and human, yet are carefully designed — shaped by light, movement and rhythm without ever announcing the technique. The camera stays close to real people and real performance, protecting the truth of the moment while giving it cinematic intention.
That instinct has been tested on international productions. Bohdan worked as a cinematographer on Uncharted: SailGP, a documentary series distributed through global broadcast partners, and operated camera on Hozier's Francesca, directed by Anthony Byrne, and on Shooting with Music, a UK documentary by BAFTA-nominated filmmaker Jacqui Morris. His performance and artist work includes Director of Photography credits for TVORCHI and cinematography for Masha Kondratenko, alongside campaign work for PUMA — including directing PUMA FIT with Olympic champion Yaroslava Mahuchikh — and fashion films connected to Vogue México y Latinoamérica and Imagine Magazine. His music video work has been nominated at the Berlin Music Video Awards.
Directors work with Bohdan as a collaborative visual partner — someone who understands tone, rhythm and narrative, and turns references into a visual language that can actually be shot. Producers value a prepared, responsive DoP who calibrates ambition to the real schedule, crew and budget, and keeps the set calm. Brands come to him for documentary-led films that feel specific rather than generic: movement, casting and emotional precision over polish for its own sake. He is based in London and available for productions across the UK and Europe.
